   Flying Fortress Stages 2012 - CCC marshals were in stage at this first rally on a new venue near Kettering. Grafton Underwood was a WWII bomber airfield, hence the rally's name. Mark Cooper snapped this Metro 6R4 and Mk2 Escort blasting past our position.

 

        

 

 

   Richard Burns Memorial Rally 2011 -  we ran the arrival and start controls on both days, and Ed managed to win the prize draw for a high-speed passenger ride with Kris Meeke in the Mini WRC.

          

 

   Wales Rally GB 2010 -   CCC ran the arrival and start controls at Radnor on day 2 and the finish line and stop controls at Margam Park on the final day. Club members Lewis Roper and Jason Manning went further and competed on the National part of the rally in their Formula 1000 Micra. They were captured here showing intense concentration just before the starting the Radnor stage.

   We also had Henry Hardiment of West Suffolk Motor Club arrive at the end of Margam in his Mini, with an oil leak that he soon fixed and went on to finish the rally.

 

 

 

 

   Wales Rally GB 2005-2008 -  Jamie Smith also competed on Wales Rally GB for several years. In order the photos show him co-driving for Chris Melling in a VW Polo (2005), co-driving for Fin McCaul    in another Polo (2006), and driving his Subaru Impreza with Chris Melling (2007) and Simon Wallis (2008) co-driving. In 2008 they had an off into a ditch, but the spectators helped them out and they    continued the rally.

 

             

 

   Richard Burns Memorial Rally 2010 -  Ben Thomas and Jason Manning competed on the RBMR in their Micra while many other CCC members manned the arrival and start controls. The videos show       Ben and Jason, a classic Audi Quattro, and one of the added benefits of having a rally on an RAF base - a Vulcan flypast!

 

      

  
 

  

   LE JOG 2008 - The Historic Endurance Rally Organisation (HERO) organise the Lands End to John O'Groats (LE JOG) rally each year for classic cars. Ed and Simon Chambers competed on it in 2008 in    their MGB. This is a video of them tackling Bury Ford.

 

 

 

   Summer Gymkhana Series - Jamie Smith and Jason Manning competing on one of our summer evening gymkhanas (autotests).

 

    

 

   Millbrook 2007-2008 -  Ben Thomas and Lewis Roper contested the Formula 1000 Rally series in their Nissan Micras, seen here at the Millbrook Proving Ground where CCC was also marshalling, and    an in-car video of them on the Trawsfynydd Ranges in 2008.
